Thief Caught On Camera Stealing Wedding Rings At Salon
Police hope someone will recognize this woman caught on camera stealing an esthetician's wedding and engagement rings during a manicure.
STUDIO CITY, CA — A brazen thief swiped a woman's wedding and engagement ring at a crowded Studio City salon, and police caught her red-handed on a surveillance camera.
Authorities onMonday released images of the woman who stole an esthetician's wedding and engagement rings while getting service at a Studio City business.
The theft happened at about 4 p.m. June 20 in the 12100 block of Ventura Boulevard, near Laurel Canyon Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. According to police, the woman wanted into the salon get a manicure and pedicure. As she was getting service, she spotted the rings, sitting on a side tray, concealed them in her purse and left shortly after, police said.

The suspect is described as Asian, in her mid-20s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, around 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black dress with a floral design and brown wedge heels.
Anyone with information about the suspect was urged to call (818) 754- 8377 to speak with North Hollywood theft Detective Joseph Hampton.
