Traffic Declining at Bob Hope Airport
The number of passengers has gone down every month since March

Airline passenger traffic at Bob Hope Airport fell for the fourth consecutive month and declined 5.1 percent in June compared with a year ago, according to a report by the La Canada Valley Sun.
According to figures released to the Burbank-Glendale Pasadena Airport Authority, the number of passengers using Bob Hope Airport has declined every month since March, and other regional airfields are also seeing a decline in traffic.
It is believed that the ongoing decline are a result of airlines reducing the number of available seats and flights to increase their occupancy rates.
The Bob Hope Airport is owned by the cities of Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena and borders North Hollywood. It is named after legendary comedian and former Toluca Lake resident Bob Hope.
