Two-Car Crash Gravely injures North Hollywood Pedestrian

A 50-year-old man is in grave condition, and two others were injured in a two-car crash in North Holllywood.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA - A 50-year-old man is in grave condition and two other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in North Hollywood today.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 10:22 a.m. to the crash at 12106 Victory Blvd. near Laurel Canyon Boulevard, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The 50-year-old man was a pedestrian who was impacted by the crash, and two people inside the two vehicles -- a 35-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman -- were in fair to serious condition, Stewart said.

A man working nearby saw the crash and immediately rushed to the aid of the pedestrian, giving him CPR until paramedics and firefighters arrived, she said.
