Valley Village Makes Cameo in 'Parks and Recreation'

The NBC show filmed some scenes on Magnolia Boulevard that aired this week.

Back in November we reported that the NBC show Parks and Recreation had on the corner of Magnolia Boulevard and Whitsett Avenue and made it look like it had snowed.

The show aired the episode, which is titled "Campaign Ad," this week that features the scene. It turns out the sequence is a television ad for Amy Poehler's run for the Pawnee City Council. See the attached scene or watch it on Hulu.

(We recommend using the pause button to read some of the hilarious notes on the screen that list various issues Poehler's character is "pro" for, including "one police officer for every 5 citizens," "One park ranger for every 10,000 raccoons," "Finally passing PR-61, officially recognizing South Korea," "Four-way stops at every intersection," "No Turtles as pets," "Shutting down the Child Left Behind program," "Regulate heights of trampolines" and "Memorial for those lost in the trampoline 'incident.'")
