HOLLYWOOD HILLS, CA - A 20-year-old woman was rescued today after she became stranded while hiking on a steep hillside in the Bronson Canyon area of Griffith Park.

The hiker's plight in the area of 3200 North Canyon Drive was reported just before 6 p.m., according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
