Where's the Cheapest Gas Today?
Statewide, the average price of gas increased for the second day in a row.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the second consecutive day after falling 62 of the previous 63 days, increasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.79.
In North Hollywood, Toluca Lake and Valley Village, the cheapest gas to be found today is $3.65 at the Arco stations at Vineland Avenue and Vanowen Street and Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Vanowen, according to losangelesgasprices.com. However, Arco does not accept credit cards. According to MotorTrend.com, the cheapest gas at a non-Arco is the 76 station at 6761 Vineland Ave. in North Hollywood.
Statewide, the back-to-back increases are the first since a 10-day streak from April 27-May 6, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 1.2 cents less than one week ago and 18.5 cents lower than a month ago but 67.4 cents more than a year ago.
The average price rose a half-cent Saturday, the first daily increase since June 20 when it rose six-tenths of a cent.
