2 Bicyclists Killed In Collision, Police Make Arrest

Police arrested a man in connection with Tuesday's hit-and-run that killed two people.

NORTHRIDGE-CHATSWORTH, CA — Authorities made one arrest in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash in Chatsworth Tuesday that killed two bicyclists.

The male motorist was arrested when the truck he was driving crashed near Knapp Street and De Soto Avenue, police said. His name was not immediately released.

Police responded to a collision at 9500 North Lurline Avenue at about 7:25 p.m. Tuesday and determined two bicyclists, a man and a woman, to be dead on the scene, according to LAFD. The accident was reported as a hit and run, the department said.
