2 Killed In Wrong-Way 118 Freeway Crash Identified
Two men died at the scene of the crash in Porter Ranch early Sunday morning.
PORTER RANCH, CA — Two people killed in a wrong-way crash on the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway Sunday morning have been identified.
Forty-nine-year-old Gerardo Parra and Andres Quintanar, 37, died at the scene of the crash on the westbound freeway, at the Tampa Avenue off-ramp just before 4:30 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's office and California Highway Patrol.
According to investigators, the crash involved a dark-colored sedan and a semi-truck. The vehicle landed on the embankment at the Tampa Avenue off-ramp.

The crash shut down multiple lanes of the freeway for hours Sunday morning.
Authorities did not announce any arrests in connection with the crash, and the investigation was ongoing.
