4 Suspects Sought In San Fernando Valley Shooting

The victim managed to survive a gunshot wound to the head in the Van Nuys area Friday evening.

VAN NUYS, CA — A search was underway in the San Fernando Valley Friday night for at least four suspects involved in a shooting in Van Nuys.

Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 6900 block of Vesper Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. They found a man in his 20s, with a bullet wound to the head. Despite the gunshot wound, he was conscious and talking, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The suspects were seen fleeing in a black Mercedes Crossover, according to detectives.
