Additional Victims Of Suspected Serial Rapist Sought
Twenty-seven-year-old Dustin Alba Alba is accused of multiple sexual assault cases in LA and Ventura counties.

VENTURA, CA — As the hearing date for an Oxnard man arrested in connection with multiple sexual assault and rape charges across Los Angeles and Ventura counties draws closer, Southland authorities sought the public’s help this week in finding additional victims or witnesses.
Ventura County Sheriff’s Office was asking any additional witnesses to step forward with information.
Five woman have levied sexual assault and rape allegations against 27-year-old Dustin Alba, including a woman who was a minor at the time of the alleged incident. The attacks occurred from Chatsworth to Thousand Oaks and Oxnard, according to detectives. The Ventura Sheriff's Office believes there may still be additional victims or witnesses who have not come forward with a report, according to a statement released Monday.

Alba was arrested in September by Ventura County Sheriffs in connection with a series of sexual assault charges dating back to 2018. Alba is currently being held at the sheriff office's pretrial detention facility. His bail is set at roughly $1.7 million.
Alba was also arrested in 2018 on suspicion of attempted rape by the Los Angeles Police Department. The victim reported that Alba had sexually assaulted her while she was visiting his home in Chatsworth. LA's District Attorneys office decided not to file charges in that case, and Alba was released.
