NORTHRIDGE, CA — Los Angeles police established a perimeter in Northridge Tuesday to assist with locating a person suspected of stealing a vehicle.
Officers responded at approximately 5:32 p.m. Tuesday to the 8800 block of Lindley Avenue, one block north of Parthenia Street, where they were searching for a suspect, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Backup was requested in the area as the responding officers searched for the suspect, but there was no barricade situation, police said.
A description of the suspect was not available.
