WEST HILLS, CA — Police Thursday were investigating the death of a 33- year-old woman who was struck by a car in West Hills.
Dolores Mora was crossing Roscoe Boulevard outside of a crosswalk and was struck by a westbound vehicle around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Farralone Avenue, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office listed Mora as residing in Port Hueneme, in Ventura County, but police described her as being homeless.
The driver stopped as required by law, the LAPD stated.
Video from the scene showed a silver Toyota sedan with a cracked windshield and police officers erecting a tent to cover the body.
