MISSION HILLS, CA — A person was injured during a traffic crash this morning on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Mission Hills involving a passenger vehicle and a big rig, authorities said.
A person at the scene was being medically assessed for transport to a hospital, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 6:51 a.m to the northbound freeway at the westbound Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway.
The crash occurred about 6:45 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
There was no other immediate information.
