Broadway performer kicks off 75th Anniversary events

Chatsworth church kicks off a "month of Sundays" with Phantom of the Opera performer Larry Morbitt in concert on Oct. 4th.

West Valley Christian Center (also formerly known as Canoga Park Assembly of God) marks 75 years of serving this community in Jesus’ name, celebrating every Sunday in October. Kickoff is October 4th -- “Homecoming Sunday”, when past and current members/attenders gather.

Larry Wayne Morbitt, music minister at WVCC during the mid-1970s, will present a concert of inspirational music. Morbitt performed the role of Ubaldi Piangi for 17 years, in the Broadway production of ”Phantom of the Opera”, on national tour, and at the Venetian in Las Vegas. He’s sung on national and regional TV, and throughout the U.S. and Europe. He also appears on the Gaither Homecoming videos.

Free coffee and pastries at 10 AM, service and concert at 10:45 AM, and 75th Anniversary Cake afterward. Concert is free and the West Valley community is welcome.
