SigAlert: Brush Fire Backs Up Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway
A small brush fire burned near the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway in the Mission Hills area Monday morning.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A small brush fire burned near the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway in the Mission Hills area Monday morning, forcing the closure of the Sepulveda Boulevard offramp. The California Highway Patrol announced a SigAlert as traffic was backed up for miles Monday morning.
The fire was backing up traffic during the morning rush hour, and commuters are advised to avoid the area. The Sepulveda Boulevard offramp from the eastbound side of the freeway was closed as of 9 a.m.
