Brush Fire Breaks Out In Granada Hills
A brush fire broke out in Granada Hills Monday morning.
GRANADA HILLS, CA — A small brush fire that broke out on the side of the 118 Freeway Monday morning and was quickly extinguished by firefighters.
The fire was reported at around 9:13 a.m. on the side of the eastbound freeway near Balboa Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It took 31 firefighters around 20 minutes to extinguish the blaze, which burned an area of 15 feet by 40 feet, according to the LAFD.

No injuries were reported and there were no reports of damaged structures.
The cause of the fire was unknown, according to the LAFD.
