Sunshine Canyon Landfill Brush Fire 50 Percent Contained

NORTHRIDGE, CA – The brush fire at the Sunshine Canyon Landfill near Sylmar has burned about an acre and is 50 percent contained, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. An inspector says crews have a good handle on the blaze and no structures are threatened.
