Can I Get My Teeth Straightened with Invisalign?
Invisalign candidacy is nearly universal with some noted exceptions, with wider availability from dentists with deep Invisalign knowledge.

The simple answer is, most likely. Invisalign has been around for over fifteen years and it has proven to be exceptionally good at fixing the vast majority of orthodontic needs. However, individual candidacy must be determined by our cosmetic dentists in Northridge. Here is a quick overview of potential candidacy.
Age
Patients must be at least a teenager, but there is no upper age limit, so long as the bone structure can support the movement.
Bite Abnormalities (Malocclusions)
Invisalign has been proven to effectively deal with all kinds of bite problems, including crossbite, underbite, overbite, and openbite.
Teeth Misalignments
Invisalign has always been able to address issues associated with crooked, gapped, or overcrowded teeth. Some issues might be problematic, however, including vertical misalignment and teeth that erupted at a sharp angle to other teeth (called tooth inclination).
As you will note by a quick review online, however, there are dentists that will say that Invisalign is exceptionally limited in candidacy, while others will say that it is almost universally effective. The difference is not simply a matter of trying to sell it. Instead, the difference in opinion is based on experience. Dentists and orthodontists that have worked extensively with Invisalign have learned to use the system to a far greater extent than practitioners with little experience. This reality underscores the importance of finding an dentist with a lot of experience.
As noted, individual candidacy must be determined on a patient by patient basis, which can easily be done at a consultation with our expert in Invisalign in Northridge.
