Car Crashes Through Northridge Tire Shop
Two cars traveling at high rates of speed each lost control and crashed after hitting a dip in the road in Northridge, according to police.
NORTHRIDGE, CA — A freak accident sent one car plowing through a Northridge tire shop Monday night and another careening into a power pole.
The crash happened at around 11 p.m. Monday on Balboa Boulevard south of Devonshire Street. Two Toyotas travelling at high rates of speed hit a dip in the rode, causing each driver to lose control of their car, according to Los Angeles police detectives. Authorities don't believe alcohol or street racing were factors in the crashes.
Clean up efforts were underway Tuesday morning at the America's Tire Co. store at 10235 Balboa Blvd. were a black Toyota Corolla crashed through a window of the store. The second vehicle was also a Toyota, but the model was unclear. A video from the scene captured the crashes.

No one was seriously injured in the crashes.
