Carl Petersen Receives North Valley Nova Award

The Nova Award was presented “for service to our community by a club member” in recognition of his outreach for Democratic causes through his blog, his contributions to the club’s Facebook page and his efforts on behalf of education issues. The club has previously endorsed him in his bid to become the next representative for District Three on the Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education.
