Chatsworth Businessman Charged With Murdering Employee
Prosecutors allege the owner of a home aquarium business shot his young employee during an argument.

SAN FERNANDO, CA — A Chatsworth business owner killed his 22-year-old employee during an argument, prosecutors alleged Tuesday.
Brian Vincent Hunt, the owner of a home aquarium business, was charged with murder Tuesday in the friday shooting death of Ricardo Sanchez, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. According to Deputy District Attorney Cathy Lee., 49-year-old Hunt shot Sanchez during an argument at his Chatsworth home.
The murder charge includes allegations that Hunt used a revolver in the commission of the killing. Hunt was arrested the same day by Los Angeles police, and has remained in jail since then.

He is due back in court March 15, when a date is scheduled to be set for a hearing to determine if there is sufficient evidence to allow the case against him to proceed to trial.
Hunt could face a potential life prison sentence if convicted as charged, according to the District Attorney's Office.
