Devonshire PALS Gives Away Toys To Northridge Kids

The Los Angeles police program in Northridge collected and donated toys to local children Tuesday.

NORTHRIDGE-CHATSWORTH, CA — As part of their annual toy drive, the Los Angeles Police Department's PALS program partnered up with council member John Lee to distribute toys to local children Tuesday.

"A lot of these kids, this might be the only gift that they get all year," Lee said in a video from LA CityView 35.

The toys collected will go to youth throughout the San Fernando Valley.

Devonshire PALS is a year-round youth outreach program based in Northridge. The program is meant to foster trust and understanding between LAPD, local youth and the community, according to the program's website.
