2nd Earthquake Felt In Los Angeles County

Sunday afternoon's earthquake was reported in Chatsworth at 2:45 p.m., the second to strike the area in less than a day. Did you feel it?

CHATSWORTH, CA — A 3.2-magnitude earthquake was reported in Los Angeles Sunday afternoon, striking just north of the heart of Chatsworth.

The earthquake began at 2:45 p.m., according to the United States Geological Survey.

Earlier Sunday, a 3.3-magnitude quake struck in the same area at 3:19 a.m. It had a depth of more than four miles and was felt in Oxnard, Santa Clarita Valley and Burbank, the USGS reported.
