The Duchess of Devonshire’s High Tea served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the beautiful gardens includes hot tea served in china teapots and cups, homemade tea sandwiches, cookies, scones, cake and fruit, patrons will be served by volunteer school children and youth groups of the area ($8). Garden club booths will be available all day providing information and demonstrations. Other festivities include a quilting display from the Veterans Quilt Project, vendors, homemade bake sale, a white elephant booth, a live plant sale, and arts and crafts. Tours of the Hill-Palmer Cottage will also be available.
