Eileen Weissberg's Multi-Facted Life

San Fernando Valley Historical Society

Nature lover, amateur archaeologist, rock collector, gem carver, gem-magazine writer, traveler, historic-bead collector, gem carver---all of these things describe Eileen Weissberg.  She was a member of the San Fernando Valley Historical Society (SFVHS) until her death in 2003.  How did she become involved in all of these activities?  Come to Kathy Wilkie's presentation, "Eileen Weissberg's Multi-Facted Life," on Thursday, January 27, and find out how all of these roles were interrelated in Eileen's fascinating life.  Eileen donated much of her Native-American artifact collection and her bead collection to the SFVHS.  Examples from her collections will be on display at the meeting.

The meeting is Thursday, January 27, 2011 and starts at 7:00 p.m.  Location is the Andres Pico Adobe Park, 10940 Sepulveda Blvd., Mission Hills.  818-365-7810. The program, door prize and light refreshments are FREE, but donations are always appreciated.
