Hear the story of the El Camino Real and the bells that were created in 1906 to mark this route from San Diego to Sonoma. Although we don't have any bells on the 118 freeway (they ended up on the 101), rest assured that Chatsworth and the Santa Susana Pass are also a part of this historic road.
Join the Chatsworth Historical Society at our general meeting starting at 7:00 pm at the Chatsworth Museum as we review this history learning about the Historic Bells and the availablity of these bells today.
The Virginia Watson Chatsworth Museum is located in the Homestead Acre at 10385 Shadow Oak Drive in Chatsworth, Ca. We are located at the west end of Devonshire just inside Chatsworth Park South.
