"The Gondoliers," one of Gilbert & Sullivan's most beloved musicals, features a large cast, gorgeous costumes, an elaborate set and live 5-piece band. The comical plot revolves around gondolieri Marco and Giuseppi who have just married contadine Gianetta & Tessa, when the Grand Inquisitor informs them either Marco or Giuseppi may be the King of Barataria, and already married. The Duke and Duchess of Plaza-Toro have arrived with their daughter, Princess Casilda, who is soon to become the Queen of Barataria, if they can only figure out who is the King!
