Expect Winds In Northridge Monday

NORTHRIDGE, CA — Northridge could see wind gusts up to 55 miles per hour Monday, according to the National Weather Service for Los Angeles and Oxnard.

NWS issued a wind advisory until 3 p.m. Monday for Northridge and many other areas in Los Angeles. Northridge will see winds between 20-35 miles per hour with gusts between 45-55 miles per hour.

The winds could make driving difficult on the State Route 23, 101, and 118, NWS said. Motorists should be extra careful while driving and secure outdoor objects. Downed trees could cause power outages, NWS said.
