Hundreds gathered at Chatsworth's Winnetka 21 in anticipation of midnight screening of final film.
Some brought tents and folding chairs. Others just dressed like their favorite character.
A few hours before a midnight screening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, hundreds of fans lined up in front of Chatsworth's Pacific Winnetka 21 Theaters. While they exchanged stories and played games, they expressed sadness about the franchise's last chapter.
A few young teens waited for the doors to open, but most of the fans were at least in high school. Those who graduated this year were in 2nd grade when The Sorcerer's Stone kicked the series off 10 years ago.

Among die-hard Potter maniacs and curious new fans the consensus was clear: no one could wait to see the new movie.
