A fire broke out at a Northridge strip mall early Tuesday morning.
NORTHRIDGE, CA — A fire broke out at a Northridge strip mall early Tuesday morning.
Crews responded at 4:38 a.m. to 8363 N. Reseda Blvd. between Chase Street and Roscoe Boulevard, in response to a fire that had broken out on the shopping center's second floor, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It took 75 firefighters 47 minutes to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported, according to the LAFD.

The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety was contacted to assess the mall's structural integrity. LAFD crews remained on site Tuesday morning for overhaul and salvage operations, officials said.
