LOS ANGELES, CA — Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters made quick work of a mobile home fire in Chatsworth Thursday morning.Firefighters were called to battle a blaze in the 20600 block of West Lassen Street just before 9 a.m. They arrived to find a home engulfed in heavy fire and smoke, said LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart. Firefighters immediately went into offensive firefighting mode, she added. "Forty-four firefighters extinguished the fire in 13 minutes with no injuries reported," Stewart said. "Firefighters contained the fire to one mobile home unit."The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
