Gasoline Price Relief May Be Coming Soon

Maintenance has been completed at refineries in Southern California and Northern California.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Wednesday for the seventh consecutive day, increasing nine-tenths of a cent to $4.407, but relief could be coming soon.

The wholesale price of California-blend gasoline on the New York Mercantile Exchange dropped nearly 30 cents per gallon earlier this week after maintenance was completed at refineries in Southern California and Northern California, which should lead to the end of record-low inventories which had caused the increases.
