Enjoy music, history, activities, a parade, and shopping in Topanga Canyon over the three-day Memorial Day weekend.
Topanga Days at 1440 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd. in Topanga, includes such old-time fair favorites as egg toss, sack races, bucket fill, bat spinning, baby derby, watermelon seed spitting, horse shoe tournament, a pie eating contest, and team tug-0-war.
The Main Stage, Corral Stage, and Canyon Underground will all feature live performances of Tribal, Funk, Hip-Hop, and Rock music daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

There will also be plenty of vendor booths featuring jewelry, botanicals, art, cards, solar energy, tiles, and airbrush face and body art. It’s a good place to picnic [no alcohol, please] but please keep your pets at home.
The parade will be on Monday, Memorial Day, at 9 a.m. Topanga Canyon Boulevard will be shut down at 7 a.m. until the conclusion of the parade. You can park all along Topanga Canyon Boulevard but be sure all four tires are behind the white lines. There is no parking on Cheney Street or at Pat’s Restaurant. However, there will be shuttles running from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., with signs posted for shuttle stops. Parking and shuttle information can be found on their website. There is limited on-site handicapped parking, but if you have someone drop you off at the bottom of the hill, one of the parking volunteers will drive you up in a golf cart.

The 38th Topanga Days Country Fair [an outgrowth of the Strawberry Festival of the 1960s] is the annual fundraiser for The Topanga Community Club which, according to their website “…was founded in 1949, originally as the Topanga Woman’s Club, to be community center for all."
All tickets are sold at the gate. Prices are $20 for General Admission, $15 for Military and Topanga Community Club members, $10 for Children 6-12 and Seniors 65+, and admission for children 5 and under is free.
