Hiker Rescued By Helicopter From SFV Trail

STUDIO CITY, CA — A woman, approximately 70 years old, was rescued by helicopter from a San Fernando Valley hiking trail Thursday morning.

The woman suffered minor injuries after falling during a hike on the Fryman Canyon Trail, located in the hills above Studio City, at around 9:30 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The woman was hoisted by helicopter from her location so paramedics could transport her by ambulance to a local hospital for further evaluation, according to the LAFD.
