Jersey Mike's Raises More Than $900K For Cancer For College
An additional $8.5K went to City of Hope in chain's "Month of Giving" in March at restaurants throughout LA, OC and Inland Empire.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA – The 188 Jersey Mike's Subs franchises in Los Angeles and Orange counties, Inland Empire and nearby regions raised a collective $900,659 for Cancer For College during the chain's 9th Annual “Month of Giving” in March. Three other Jersey Mike's in Los Angeles also contributed to the effort, raising $8,520 for City of Hope, company officials said.
During the monthlong fundraiser, customers were invited to donate to Cancer for College when they stopped by the restaurants, or City of Hope at eateries in Sherman Oaks, Hollywood and one of the Northridge shops.
On March 27, 100 percent of the day’s sales went to the business' designated charity: Cancer for College, a charity that awards scholarships to low-income, high achieving cancer survivors; or City of Hope, a regional comprehensive cancer center.
