Jumper Closes Two Lanes Of The 118 Freeway

Authorities are working to get the person down safely.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A person who threatened to jump from an overpass above the eastbound Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway has been safely talked down, and the freeway has reopened.

The incident forced the closure of two lanes shortly before 2 p.m. Thursday.

The freeway was closed at Woodman Avenue in Mission Hills, according to the California Highway Patrol.
