Is the LAUSD Too Big To Get Rid of Deasy?
If the LAUSD is so large that they will not be able to find a suitable replacement, perhaps it is too large. [OPINION]

- LAUSD Staffer
Last month the district was using its size as an excuse for the MiSiS crisis. If we are now in a position where we have to keep Deasy because the district is too large to find a replacement who can handle its size, perhaps this would be a good time to ask if the district is too large to be run efficiently. Only the New York City school system has more students and they do not have to deal with the same geographic size. Would several smaller districts be more accountable to their students, parents and teachers?
