FirstLight HomeCare, provider of quality, affordable, non-medical in-home care for adults, is now open in Santa Clarita, CA. FirstLight HomeCare of Santa Clarita is owned and operated by local residents Jeremy and Mika McNally, who have a passion for providing members of the community with quality, trustworthy in-home care services. Located in Santa Clarita, FirstLight will service residents of Santa Clarita, Chatsworth, Newhall, Canyon Country, Valencia and Stevenson Ranch.
Prior to opening FirstLight of Santa Clarita, Mika spent two years as a stay at home mom while Jeremy was completing his military training. Jeremy is currently serving in the California Air National Guard as a cargo pilot. Both Mika and Jeremy have had grandparents that suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. Mika was the caregiver for her grandmother for four years and Jeremy’s grandmother was put into an assisted living facility because, even though she would have liked to stay in her home, in-home care services were not available in rural North Dakota. Their personal experiences with the disease made them very aware of how great the need is for services like FirstLight.
FirstLight of Santa Clarita is a family operated business, as Mika’s mother, Cheri, will handle business development and her cousin, Elizabeth, will handle the business operations. By opening FirstLight of Santa Clarita, Mika, Jeremy and their family members will be able to provide services that allow seniors and those in need of assistance to stay in their homes.
