Locals Hold Vigil For Chatsworth Teens Killed In Crash
Chatsworth locals held a vigil Sunday for a 14-year-old and his 16-year-old sister who both died after a car accident just before Christmas.
NORTHRIDGE-CHATSWORTH, CA — Chatsworth locals held a vigil Sunday for two teen siblings who died after a car accident a week before Christmas, ABC7 reported.
Arjit Chettupalli, 14, died hours after the crash which occurred on Lassen Street near Oakdale, according to ABC7. His 16-year old sister, Akshata Reddy Chettupalli, died on Christmas Day when she was taken off life support.
Sunday's vigil was held at the crash site, where classmates, family and community members remembered the teens.

"My kids ... there are not enough words to describe," Ram Chettupalli, the teens' father, told ABC7. "My daughter was amazing and my son was, in a simple word, was kind of a human computer. They were very disciplined. They never did a single thing to the society. My daughter used to always tell me, 'Daddy, I don't know what I will do, but I will do something great for the society.'"
