Man Barricaded In Los Angeles Surrenders

The incident was reported in the 11800 block of Louise Avenue in Granada Hills.

LOS ANGELES, CA --A man who was barricaded in a Granada Hills residence for about eight hours Friday surrendered to a SWAT team, and no one was hurt, police said.

Officers went to the 11800 block of Louise Avenue on a report of a possible assault, and learned that three people were inside the home, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

Two people quickly came outside, but the man, who was thought to be armed, remained inside, the LAPD reporter.

A SWAT team was called to the scene.

About 12:20 p.m., the man surrendered, and he was taken into custody for questioning, pending further investigation, police said.
