Perhaps you saw it on the news. Sunday, October 14, about 1 PM, a bus full of parishioners careened off of the 405 freeway, from the northbound to the southbound lanes, taking out several vehicles and sending 30 people to the hospital. Around 2:30pm, the Love Ambassadors were transporting ZomBella and Dr. Grimm home from their Ghoulie-Fest, Monster Bash at the 3rd St. Promenade in Santa Monica, when they encountered a monster vehicle backup around Roscoe and the 405N. Fortunately, ZomBella was driving and her intuitive mind told her to veer towards the right lane, in order to get off the freeway.
Just as the Grim couple reached the Nordhoff exit, adjacent to the crash, the 405N slowly turned into gridlock. They were able to exit and took surface streets home to beautiful downtown Rockpointe, thus avoiding a long four hour wait that so many drivers had to endure. Whew ...
All too often, such unfortunate vehicle crashes happen along this modern highway, backing up traffic for miles and hours. There seems only one solution and the Love Ambassadors have found it, through the creative mind of ZomBella. It tells our neighbors and friends that if you detect any huge slowdown and blockage of traffic on this major freeway, start veering off to the right lane and exit early to take an alternative route home. You won't be sorry! Now, get ready for a scary weekend as the Ghoulies invade the Grub-fest in Granada Hills (7 PM Friday) and the 3rd St. Promenade on Sunday, 12 noon.
