Man Killed In FedEx Truck Crash In Winnetka Area​

WINNETKA, CA — A A pickup truck driver died Wednesday morning in a crash involving a FedEx truck in the Winnetka area.

Authorities are investing the collision, which occurred just before 7 a.m. in the 7000 block of North Corbin Avenue. Paramedics arrived and declared a man dead at the scene.

The fatal injury was the only injury in the crash.

Information was not immediately available on the man's identity. Reports from the scene indicated he was a man in his 50s.

Police told NBC4 at the scene the pickup was being driven north on Corbin Avenue when the driver apparently tried to make a U-turn, causing the FedEx van, which was also heading north, to broadside the truck.
