Man Killed On Van Nuys Boulevard; Shooters At Large
Police are looking for two men who approached the victim and opened fire.
SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, CA — A pair of killers are at large after approaching a man in Panorma City and opening fire on him in the early morning hours Thursday.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the shooting occurred in the 9400 block of Van Nuys Boulevard at about 12:10 a.m.
Witnesses told police the shooters drove up to the 24-year-old victim as he walked along Van Nuys Boulevard got out of their vehicle, and fired several shots, killing the man.

"When the officers arrived, they located a male victim on the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to a statement by the LAPD. "Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital."
Information on his identity was not immediately available.

No arrests were reported, and no description was available of the suspects or their vehicle.
