Man Killed, Woman And Child Injured In Northridge Crash
The two-vehicle crash occurred Wednesday morning.
NORTHRIDGE, CA — A man was killed and a woman and child were injured Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Northridge, authorities said.
The crash was reported at around 8 a.m. at Reseda Boulevard and Lassen Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The man, who was driving one of the vehicles, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

A woman believed to be about 30 years old and a child believed to be 3 years old were taken to a hospital in stable condition, according to police. Both were passengers in the second vehicle.
The Los Angeles Fire Department earlier confirmed that two people were transported from the scene, KTLA reported. Video from the scene showed a badly damaged black SUV and a white canopy erected near the crash site, according to the station.

Authorities did not immediately say what caused the crash.
