Man Shot Multiple Times In Chatsworth

Police are investigating the shooting in the 9900 block of De Soto Avenue Tuesday.

CHATSWORTH, CA — One person was shot several times Tuesday afternoon in Chatsworth, and the shooter remains at large.

The shooting was reported at 3:58 p.m. in the 9900 block of De Soto Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. According to CBS2, the victim is a 30-year-old man who was shot in the chest.

Police do not have a suspect in custody nor have detectives released a description of the suspect, said Officer Jeff Lee, a spokesman for the LAPD. As of 5 p.m., officers were not setting up a perimeter in the area.
