Mass Shooting Threat Scrawled On CSUN Wall
Authorities are investigating a shooting threat and swastika found scribbled onto a bathroom wall at Cal State Northridge.

NORTHRIDGE, CA — Authorities are investigating a mass shooting threat and swastika that was discovered scrawled onto the wall of a building at Cal State Northridge Wednesday.
The ominous messages predicted the day, during finals next week, when the attack would occur.
"Mass shooting in Sierra Hall 12/12/18" it read with a swastika below the message. The graffiti was found in a men's bathroom on the third floor of Sierra Hall, which is home to the school's Psychology Department.

"CSUN is aware of the hateful and offensive graffiti in Sierra Hall," the school said in a statement. "CSUN Police are investigating this use of hateful language and symbols and threat against our community. We are working to remove this graffiti immediately. CSUN condemns this in the strongest possible terms."
Investigators have not yet identified a suspect.

“We’re just going to investigate it to try to determine what kind of threat we have, if it’s credible,” Cal State Northridge Police Capt. Alfredo Fernandez told the Los Angeles Times.
