Motorcyclist Killed In Chatsworth Accident

CHATSWORTH, CA — A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Chatsworth, according to the LAPD.

The collision was reported around 1:15 p.m., near the intersection of De Soto Avenue and Chatsworth Street, according to Officer Jader Chaves of the Los Angeles Police Department. A motorcyclist was traveling northbound on De Soto Avenue, lost control, and collided into a poll, according to Norma Eisenman of the LAPD.

The unidentified victim died at the scene, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department. The incident was reported as a hit-and-run, but no is no longer being investigated as such.
