New El Pollo Loco Opens; Hiring Underway
The restaurant is in the Platt Village Shopping Center in West Hills.

WEST HILLS, CA – A new El Pollo Loco opened last week in West Hills, and some positions are still available.
The chicken restaurant, located in the Platt Village Shopping Center at 6430 Platt Ave., is hiring managers, a shift leader, cashier, service assistant and cook, according to the job postings.
The West Hills site marks the company’s 161st location in Los Angeles County, and is 2,684 square feet with seating for 64. Designed with a Mexican-inspired atmosphere, the restaurant has an open-kitchen layout, allowing customers to view El Pollo Loco’s chicken as it is fire-grilled, according to management.

“We are always thrilled to open new locations and bring new fans our delicious food, but we take exceptional pride in deepening our roots in our home state of California,” said Gus Siade, El Pollo Loco senior vice president of operations. “Los Angeles has inspired the heart and soul of our brand, so expanding our presence beyond the city to surrounding communities is incredibly exciting for us.”
