Northridge Attorney Pleads Not Guilty To Child Porn Charges

Paul Ezzat Hanna is charged with possessing more than 600 images of child pornography.

NORTHRIDGE, CA — An attorney who lives in Northridge pleaded not guilty Thursday to possessing child or youth pornography.

Paul Ezzat Hanna, 45, could face up to five years in state prison if convicted of one felony count each of possession of more than 600 images of child or youth pornography and possession of sadomasochistic child or youth pornography, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.

Hanna was prohibited from using the internet unless it is for work or counseling, or having any unsupervised time with minors, according to prosecutors.

He was arrested July 23 by officers in the Los Angeles Police Department's West Valley Division and released later the same day on $100,000 bond, according to jail records.

The case remains under investigation by the LAPD's Internet Crimes Against Children Regional Task Force, according to the District Attorney's Office.
