Northridge Man Arrested In Food Truck Stabbings
A SWAT Team was called to a home in Northridge for the arrests of two men tied to the stabbings, according to police.
GLENDALE, CA — Two men were arrested in Northridge in connection with a pair of food truck stabbings in Glendale, police said Thursday.
Glendale police arrested 23-year-old Jerald Zaroukian of Northridge and 28-year-old Guadalupe Reyna of Bakersfield, according to Sgt. Victor Jackson, the Glendale Police Department's public information officer.
Detectives located the suspects at Zaroukian's home in Northridge and requested the assistance of the Glendale Police Department's SWAT team to ensure a safe apprehension of the two suspects, Jackson said.

The arrests stem from a June. 14 stabbing at a food truck in the 300 block of West Broadway, near Central Avenue at around 11 p.m. Glendale police officers responded to a report of two victims stabbed in the area, according to Jackson.
Two men approached a food truck, brandishing a knife, prompting a male customer to intervene, which resulted in him being stabbed, Jackson said.

Police said both victims were taken to a hospital with non-life- threatening injuries. They have since been released from the hospital and are recovering from their injuries.
